Five Winds Farm
Five Winds Farm supply us with fantastic quality meats from their farm shop butchery. They also have unique and deliciously flavoured produce from their smoke house which appear on our menus., including cold smoked duck, sauasages, smoked chicken and smoked pork cheeks.
Their meats are sourced from Angus sired cattle, local free range pork, lamb and poultry. During the winter months they specialise in locally-sourced game. The shop is well known for the largest range of meat poultry and game in East Anglia and is a member of the Guild of Q Butchers.
Five Winds Farm Smokehouse and Butchery has become well known for our speciality bacon, sausages, gammon and hams using traditional dry curing and smoking methods. In 2008, they we were national finalists in the Bacon Connoisseur awards with their back bacon cured in Guinness and black treacle. 2009 awards include The Perpetual Challenge Cup for the best stand in The Food Hall at The Suffolk County Show and the BPEX, Eastern Region Pie Championship for their sausage rolls.
